Live forex recap from Dubai — 9 Jul 2026. 3 trades across MT4 and MT5 accounts, ending at $2,498.60. 1 wins, 2 losses, all publicly verifiable.
Quick recap of Thursday, 9 July 2026 for anyone who missed the live action. Across 18 active SalmanFX accounts, 3 trades closed today. The strategy did its job — or didn't, depending on how you read a 33.3% win rate. Either way, the daily P/L came in at $2,498.60, and every single trade is searchable on the public dashboard.
What I'd Tell My Past Self About Today
If I could send a message back to the version of me who started this account two years ago, today's session would be Exhibit A. Out of 3 trades, 1 closed in profit. The point isn't the dollar amount — it's that the system held up under live conditions, which is the only test that actually counts. Backtests are easy. Forward-testing in a backtester is easy. Live execution with real money on the line, on a public dashboard where every trade is timestamped, is the hard part.
Trade of the Day
The standout position was a XAUUSDm LONG at 1 lots — opened at 4108.33, closed at 4133.349, net $2,501.90. This is exactly the type of setup I built the strategy around: clean long bias, momentum confirmation, and an exit at the next significant level rather than a fixed take-profit. The logic isn't fancy. It just works often enough to matter.
Why I Keep Coming Back to Gold (XAUUSD)
Most of today's activity centered on XAUUSD (Gold). People ask me why I focus there instead of the major pairs, and the answer is volatility. Gold gives you enough range to make decent risk-reward setups without being so wild that stops get hunted. EUR/USD has been compressed for months. GBP/USD is choppy. Gold? Gold moves when Asia opens, when London opens, when New York opens. It almost always offers something.
Where the Accounts Stand Right Now
Across 18 active live accounts, combined balance currently sits at $378,242.29 with combined equity of $372,754.79. As I'm writing this, 18 positions are still open with floating P/L of -$5,487.50. Those are running into the next session. You can verify any of these numbers in real time on the live dashboard — they update every 30 seconds.
Why Live Tracking Matters
A decade ago, I would have considered today a rounding error. Now, with everything public on the dashboard, every trade has a permanent record. That accountability has changed how I trade more than any indicator or strategy ever did. If you've never tried publishing your trades publicly, I genuinely recommend it. It clarifies a lot.
Until Tomorrow
That's it for today. Tomorrow the EA runs again, the dashboard updates again, and another recap goes up. If you want to watch trading happen in real time, I stream educational sessions on TikTok at @SalmanFX99 most weekdays. Questions? WhatsApp: +971 54 473 5060. Stay disciplined out there.
